Drug Seizure on Westwood

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George have seized about $17 thousand dollars worth of drugs from a  Westwood  Drive home.

Yesterday, the Prince George RCMP Drug unit executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) at a residence in the 3000 block of Westwood Drive.

Upon searching the residence, officers discovered and seized quantities of Heroin, Crystal Methamphetamine, and Cocaine. Police also located 434 Tabs of Ecstacy, 109 tabs of Tylenol 3's and large amount of cash. 

Three male suspects were arrested and are well known to police. They will be facing several charges including 4 counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

I bet they get a red spot on their wrists. Thats it.

You know, if they get caught, they should have to take all of the drugs they get caught with, That would really be a deterent to have large quantities. The dealers are not always users.
Is there some where a person can go to see what charges have been laid for what crimes? I know we all say sentences are too light but I dont know how we know that, other than the court of public perception and the occasional news story about the rediculous ones. Is the info available online or anything?

Interceptor: Court registry is your answer. However you have to wait until the informations are laid - then it becomes public information. Until then, the privacy act applies.
Why if these people are well known by Police are they let go until their court date? That makes no sense to me and is really not right.
