Quesnel, B.C. - A severe thunderstorm watch is underway for the Cariboo including Williams Lake and Quesnel.

 

There is a risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening throughout the region.

Environment Canada says it is watching the conditions, but there is a potential for the development of severe thunderstorms with large hail, heavy downpours and brief damaging winds.
