Edson, Alberta - While the possible route of a missing St Albert, Alberta couple who are missing would likely take them through Valemount and then on to Chilliwack for a family re union, the possibility exists that either they, or the Hyundai car they were towing could have passed by Prince George.
The motor home owned by Lyle McCann, 78 and his wife Marie Ann, 77 was spotted engulfed in flames near the Minnow Lake Camp ground, near Edson Alberta, July 5th.
A fire crew from Edson extinguished the blaze and then tried to contact the owners after finding no one in the motor home. Fire officials did not know the vehicle was owned by the McCann’s. The car they were towing was missing.
The couple were travelling to meet up with their daughter in Abbotsford BC on Saturday July 10th but never showed up.
The car they were towing,is a light green Hyundai Tucson with Alberta plate ZPK-289.
Police on both sides of the border are hoping to find that vehicle as they say the disappearance of the couple is very suspicious.
