A crash on Foothills Boulevard at the  bridge over the Nechako  River  tied up  north and southbound traffic around 5:00 this evening.

The area has been extremely busy with  vehicles as the bridge is a  key point for  tubers to access the river  to float  to a take out point  downstream, or as the take out point having floated downstream from Wilkins Park in Miworth.

No one  injured in the crash,  and further details were not  available.

Not a surprise. There should be a parking lot there at that location for all the obvious reasons. More studies are in order I guess (in jest) and maybe in twenty years we will have a park with parking spots where the people need to park.
Right on Eagleone! It's a perfect location for a waterpark that is so obviously missing in our city.

Develope that area as a park, just makes to much sense.
Parking has nothing to do with this accident. A careless driver passed the lady in the landcruiser, then he pulled a u-turn in the middle of the bridge directly in front of her. They are all lucky to be alive.

Time for a left turn lane petition? Better get right on it, eh?
More tax dollars to build and maintain. Isn't there already two parks along the river? Wilson and Cottonwood Island? This would be # 3 wouldn't it? Just asking.
