Ft St John- A flash Thunderstorm left 5500 homes without power and flooded streets and a parking lot in that city yesterday.

 

The Storm hit the area at 5.30 Thursday bringing with it, hail and rain.

 

Several homes in the city had flooded basements and the Totem Mall in that city had problems as water covered the parking lot.

 

One house suffered minor damage from a lightning strike.

 

Power was restored to most homes by late Thursday night.
