Prince George, B.C.-  The concert by Meat Loaf, scheduled for August 4th in Prince George, has been postponed.

Under the advisement of his doctors, Meat Loaf will be on vocal rest for the next two weeks with flu related symptoms. He will need to cancel his Canadian shows in Edmonton, Dawson Creek, Calgary, Prince George, Abbotsford and Penticton. He regrets any inconvenience to his fans as a result of his illness.

CN Centre Manager Andy Beesley  says  ticket holders should hold on to their tickets as the concert organizers are working on potential rescheduling opportunities, details of which will be released late next week.

So.. Meatloaf is off, eh? I've heard that before.
Meatloaf is not off at our place tonight. I am still making it for supper.
Shame I had a great seat, and was looking forward to the show. Hopefully this can be resolved, and rescheduled.

I don't complain when people don't show up when they are sick (particularly if the doctor backs them up), do why would I expect a performer too.

Hope he gets well soon, and will be at the concert in the fall.
Meatloaf--a bunch of old, worn out musicians making noise. I wouldn't go when I was offered the free ticket!
