Prince George, BC – Space is still available, but running out quickly, for young hockey players to take part in the Prince George Cougars 2010 Hockey School.  The camp, which will be instructed by Cougars players and coaching staff, is scheduled for August 23-27 at CN Centre.

The Cougars Hockey School will be divided between three age categories:  Initiation (ages 6-8), Atom (ages 9-10) and Pee Wee (ages 11-12+).  Participants will take part in over six hours of on-ice instruction and over six hours of off-ice dry land training.  Participants get a chance to learn from all returning Cougars players, including Tampa Bay Lightning 2010 first round draft pick Brett Connolly and 2010 Cougars Rookie of the Year Jesse Forsberg.  Cougars Head Coach Dean Clark, Assistant Coach Jason Becker and Athletic Trainer Chico Dhanjal will lead the week-long hockey school.

Prince George Cougars Hockey School registration forms are available during business hours at the Cougars office at CN Centre, located at #102 - 2187 Ospika Boulevard.  Registration forms are also available online at www.pgcougars.com.  A Hockey School link is featured on the Cougars home page.  Camp fees are just $125 plus HST, which includes a jersey for each player.  A maximum of 30 players will be accepted in each age category.
