This was the first year that I have forced myself to go and watch the Draft Horse Pulls. I have always enjoyed the sport and having once lived in Toronto, I was frequently at the Royal Winter fair where I witnessed Canada's (as well as the world's) best teams at work. I was pleasnatly surprised at the quality of the teams here despite the fact that this year there where only eight teams. Tremendous showing and if you have never gone to see this I highly recommend this show. Two horse who together weight around four thousand pounds, pulling a sled that weighs approximately nine thousand pounds.(yes, two and a half tons over the combined weight of the two horses put together) You can litteraly feel the ground shake when these magnificent animals put their power to the ground through their eight hooves. Great show. Teaches the youngsters what two horspower can actually accomplish!!

I would also like to thank Fair managment who agreed to waiew the parking and entrance fees fo all disabled people. In the past they only gave free admission to those disabled who are in wheelchairs. By changing their understanding of disability they no longer discriminate against those disabled who have been fortunately able to avoid the use of wheelchairs. Thank you PGX.
had a great time with my daughter. We will be going again next year
I enjoyed Rick Stavely & Western Front Band, last night and today. Pure Country!!!
I will go again next year. Thanks PGX
