Man Shot to Death in Broad Daylight

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP  were called to the 2400 block of Oak Street around 3 this afternoon where they found the body of a man in the middle of the street.  It  appears he had been shot to death.

The victim's name and age have not been confirmed.

Police say that at this point in the investigation, it is too early to say if this shooting was gang related.

Contrary to earlier reports,  police do not have anyone in custody and continue to  look  for suspects.

Anyone with any information on this  fatal  shooting is asked to contact the local Prince George detachment of the RCMP and  ask for the Serious Crimes Unit, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)

So much for the highly touted Gang unit. The victim was a well known gang banger. My heart goes out to his parents.

so, the wheel just keeps spinning; sorry to the family members left behind that have to pick up the pieces. But,yeh, so much for the gang unit and their progress.
This town has a real problem.
Daytime shooting? A bit tougher for defense counsel to say it was a dark and stormy night and visibility was a factor in this shooting.
