Prince George, B.C.- The senior citizen arrested in connection with a hold up at the Scotia Bank in Spruceland Mall on Friday has been remanded in custody and will undergo a psychiatric examination.
The 75 year old was picked up less than a block from the bank on Friday shortly after a man had appeared in the bank had demanded cash.
The suspect was described as an elderly Caucasian male, wearing sun glasses, a straw hat, white t-shirt and grey jogging pants and was using a walker.
A man matching that description was picked up by police near the Save-On Foods store at the north end of the Spruceland mall.
