Smoke Advisory To Remain In Effect Through Tomorrow

Prince George, B.C.- The Wildfire Smoke Advisory will remain in effect for Prince George and Vanderhoof until at least late tomorrow.
The provincial air quality objective for fine particles, PM10, is 50 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours. The 24 hour PM10 rolling average was 114 µg/m3 at the Plaza 400 downtown, 130 µg/m3 at BCR and 112 µg/m3 at College Heights at 4 p.m. this afternoon.   In Vanderhoof,  it was  123 µg/m3 .
 
The provincial air quality objective for fine particles, PM2.5, is 25 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours. The 24 hour PM2.5 rolling average was 95 µg/m3 at the Plaza 400 downtown site and 104 µg/m3 at College Heights at 4 p.m. this afternoon.   
  
 
This condition is expected to continue until Wednesday evening when a cold front is expected to move through the region.

When you are there, click on Williams Lake Columneeza School site and pick pm2.5 or pm10 and see their predicament.

A caller from there was ticked off at CBC Okanagan that was broadcasting about the air quality in Okanagan and was telling her that they could not see more than one block, if that and there is no mention of that.

Kind of the same around here, isn't it. No one mentions a thing about WL or even Quesnel.
