The very 'quiet' track at Masich Place Stadium Opinion250 photo
Prince George, B.C. - Most Prince George residents seem to be heeding the warning associated with the ongoing smoke advisory, to avoid strenuous outdoor activity.
Normally brimming with activity over the noon-hour, the track at Masich Place Stadium had just a few people tredding laps yesterday...and only one person was running.
Keith Innes was there with his grandchildren, Josephine and Naeshawn.
Innes says he actually found the air bothered him more on Wednesday, "Yesterday was worse than this, I took the kids to the park and it was so bad that we didn't stay too long, but today (Thursday), the smoke seems to be thinning out."
However, Innes says while walking is alright, he doesn't think he'd try running.
The concrete hills over at the Rotary Skate Park were also quite, with just a small group of teens getting their bikes ready to take on the trick park.
17-year-old Conor Sproull says, "It (the air quality) doesn't really bother me, it just looks kind of ugly."
His friend, 16-year-old Kevin Radford says the bad air won't prevent him from riding, but he was surprised by the ash falling Wednesday night, "I let my dog out and I looked up and there were ashes everywhere and smoke everywhere."
Will Andal, also 16, was the only one of the bunch to say the air does bother him, "But I just like riding, so I keep going."

That said, I haven't done any running in the last day or two. It's simply too thick out there and I didn't think it was worth risking it.
