Regional District of Fraser Fort George Modifies Punchaw Lake Orders

Punchaw Lake area, including Clarkson Road, Punchaw Road, and Telegraph Trail just past the crossing of the Chilako (Mud) River.

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has modified its Pelican Lake Complex Fire evacuation order for the five residences south of Punchaw Lake to an EVACUATION ALERT.

 

 

 

These residences are now part of the EVACUATION ALERT AREA announced on August 20th that includes all addresses in the

The Regional District will continue to monitor fire activity in the area. The Regional District encourages all residents in the evacuation alert area to prepare in the event that an evacuation is required.

Properties north of Punchaw are not affected by this Evacuation Alert.
