Cariboo Chilcotin, B.C. – The improving situation with the wildfires, has resulted in the Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre reducing its operations to Level 1 status.
The EOC has been at Level 3 status since Thursday July 29.
Level 1 status means key CRD staff remain in place, communicating with outside agencies such as the Cariboo Fire Centre, and continuing to monitor the situation.
The multiple agencies who were present in the EOC during the Level 3 activation have returned to their offices. The EOC can easily re-mobilize should it become necessary.
