Quesnel, B.C. – The campfire ban for the City of Quesnel is no longer in effect.

All other open burning, such as fires to dispose of garden waste, is prohibited as usual.

The City made the decision today keeping in step with the Cariboo Fire Centre, which lifted its ban earlier today.

The fire risk has been reduced thanks to the recent cooler temperatures and wetter weather.
