Cougars Roster Now at 36

There are 20 forwards, 12 defencemen and four goaltenders that remain on the Cougars pre-season roster. The club will take 33 players to Edmonton this weekend for the Cougars first pre-season games against Medicine Hat Saturday and Swift Current Sunday. 15-year olds Chase Witala, Eli Jarvis and Raymond Grewal will not make the trip to Edmonton, but will rejoin the team following their Cariboo Cougars Midget AAA try-outs this weekend.
The Cougars will host the Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 in their first pre-season home games at CN Centre. The Cougars will entertain the Kamloops Blazers in their final exhibition contest on Saturday, November 18. Puck drop for all pre-season games at CN Centre is 7:00pm. After starting the season on the road in Kamloops September 24, the Cougars home opener will be on Friday, October 1 against the Vancouver Giants, starting at 7:00pm.
