Flight For Human Spirit Lands In Prince George

Prince George, B.C.- The storm that swept into the central Interior Friday afternoon made certain the Prince George Airport would welcome a special guest.
Michael Combs landed at YXS at 17:35 hours, after watching the storm track its way into the region.
Flying a Light Sport aircraft, Combs is on a special mission. It’s called the Flight for the Human Spirit and started as a dream. Combs says the flight,( which he plans to make all 50 U.S. states covering 22,500 miles in 50 flights with 150 stops) is proof that all things are possible.
It's always been his dream to fly -- a dream he thought was lost forever after a serious illness nearly took his life in 2003. Nearly seven years later, it's finally coming true! But, it's not just about his dream, Michael knows what it's like face impossible odds and says he set out to inspire other to dream again and pursue those dreams with vigor and determination...and do it now.
Michael’s stay here is just for the night, he will be on his way again tomorrow, heading for Alaska.
