Two Central Interior Men Die in Crash Near Dease Lake

Dease Lake, B.C.- RCMP continue their investigation into a single vehicle crash on Tuesday that claimed the lives of two young men near Dease Lake.
RCMP say the crash happened on Tuesday around 1p.m. on Highway 37 about 24 kilometers south of Dease Lake when a gray 2007 GMC crewcab pick-up truck lost control and went off road. A male driver from Kamloops and his male passenger believed to be from the Quesnel area, were found dead at the scene.
At the request of both families, the names of the deceased are not being released.
The Dease Lake RCMP, North District Traffic Services and the Coroner’s Service continue the investigation to establish all of the contributing factors in this crash. That will include the possibility of alcohol involvement, any mechanical failures, mechanical defects or driver behavior.
