A simple sign says it all.....

Williams Lake, B.C. - Although  fire crews  continue working towards  100% containment of the worst of the  fires in the Cariboo Fire Centre,  there is still a need for caution.

Hunters need to be aware that crews are still working on the Bull, Meldrum Creek and Pelican Lake Complexes and they need to use extreme caution when hunting in these areas. These complexes are nearing containment but crews willcontinue patrolling the containment lines, extinguishing hot spots and conducting rehabilitation of suppression areas. There may be small spot fires within the perimeters' of these fires showing smoke but they do not pose a threat.

These wildfires have resulted in hazardous road conditions due to falling trees. The public should be aware of these conditions, and if at all possible, the public is urged to stay out of these areas.
