It is okay! We are just following the lead of every level of government that are on a spending spree on our grandchildrens dime. Oh but us hard working tax payers are the problem! We want to much! Ya and then I woke up!
It's not funny, it's reality!
A sad reality.!
There are lots of people who don't live from paycheque to paycheque. These people are not very good for the economy though, and are frowned upon!
Given that the tax breaks given corporations and the wealthy by the conservative, and having that burden shifted to the middle class, driving down the median income, duh.
From the globe and mail
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/archives/the-rich-the-poor-and-the-chasm-between/article682203/ "Earnings among the richest fifth of Canadians grew 16.4 per cent between 1980 and 2005 while the poorest fifth of the population saw earnings tumble 20.6 per cent over the 25-year time period, Statistics Canada said in its 2006 census release on income and earnings. Earnings among people in the middle stagnated."

So, who can you blame people? I'm wondering when the sheeple in this riding will figure out they're getting screwed by the people they send to parliament.
Harper has pushed through 50 billion dollars in corporate tax cuts, perhaps honestly believing that Reaganomics works. Trickle-down has never worked, and his cut in the gst has rewarded the rich much more than the poor. What used to be a consumption tax that was progressive, and affected those with money to spare more proportionally now causes a 50 billion dollar deficit.

The conservatives are 'not' conservative, they are bought and paid for by big business. They muzzle government scientists, and cover up the environmental disaster that the tar sands are turning out to be. The do believe in smaller governments, because they honestly believe that Enbridge and British Petroleum are the good guys. Why their supporters get all excited about the long gun registry I don't know, it is at best a minor distraction from the real issues...

Conservative supporters really have a poor grasp of the facts, they support Harper et. al. because the liberals are corrupt.
But the conservatives are bought and paid for by big business, as evidenced by the HST, a combined liberal/conservative policy (which is the biggest shift of taxes from corporations to the 'little people' in Canadian history).

They don't support the common people. Like the republicans south of us, they lie about their intentions, distort the facts (ie. proroguing parliament) and then stir the pot with bs like the long gun registry.

Run on your damn record, and then see how long you'll last. Sorry, just angry at how people don't spend 5 minutes on the internets, getting both sides of a story (ie. not believing what the mass media corporations spoon feed us as news). Readthetyee.ca once a week, even if it makes you angry at least see that there are two sides to most stories. Then use your own judgement.
Sorry, read www.thetyee.ca
If I can ever figure this out http://thetyee.ca/
Finally.
Well, having posted it three times, does someone not like posting a link to a leftish site? Ah well, google it. Damn good site.
