Leaves are turning and in some cases falling, but fall isn't officially here for  a few hours....
Prince George, B.C.-   The leaves have been dropping from the trees for a couple of weeks, there have already been snow flurries in 100 Mile House, and a record low was set yesterday  here in Prince George  but….Fall doesn’t officially arrive until tonight.
The official time for the change in seasons is 8:09 p.m. tonight.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Jim Steele says we can expect the coming months to be colder than normal with more precipitation than normal. The cooler, wetter conditions all courtesy of La Nina which is setting up in the Pacific.
Steele  says August  was  a strange one as Autumn like  conditions have been  in the region for nearly a month now "It was like someone  leaned really hard on the 'Fall' button.....what's up with that?"
