Prince George, B.C.- Results of another round of testing for formaldehyde in Prince George’s air, have failed to show the kind of levels reported two years ago.

The latest testing was conducted  August 6, 17, 18 and 19th  all four days had  poor air quality conditions associated with forest fires/smoke.

Samples were collected at each location and labelled as A and B. The Millar Addition Citizen’s Coalition (MACC) along with the People’s Action Committee for Healthy Air (PACHA) did not sample at these locations on August 6, 17, 18 and 19 and therefore comparison results are not available.

The MOE formaldehyde sample results for these dates ranged from 1.04 - 3.30 µg/m3 and are well under the BC Action Level (one-hour) of 60 µg/m3.

Well ever since the first results came out a few months ago have you noticed all the environmentalists have been deathly quiet after all the sword rattling and fear mongering they did last year.
