Lindsay Manning crosses finish line at Otway Nordic Centre
Prince George, B.C. - The 4th running of the Mad Moose Marathon is wrapping up at the Otway Nordic Centre...
In total, 125 runners took part in the trail race that traverses the Greenway Trails between Otway and the University of Northern B.C. -- 100 were running the half-marathon, 25 brave souls took to the trails for a full marathan.
The Mad Moose is the final event in the 3-race 2010 Trail Run series.
Lindsay Manning ran the half-marathon portion this morning. It was her first time running in the Mad Moose and she says she really enjoyed it.
"It was pretty hilly, muddy, and slippery, but it felt good," says Manning (shown in photo at left with 7-month-old daughter, Bella, and husband, Jaron). "It was gorgeous -- the fall colours -- and it was sunny a lot of the time. I like trail running and I liked this race a lot."
A number of spectators were on-hand at the finish line to cheer racers down the final hill and across the finish line.

The race is sponsored by Stride and Glide Sports and Richard Stewart.
