Run for the Cure this Sunday

Prince George, BC.- This Sunday morning, you are invited to lace up and take part in the CIBC Run for the Cure.

This is the 19th annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure and it will get underway at the Prince George Civic Centre at 10 Sunday morning.

The Prince George run is one of 60 taking place across the country. This run will see more than 170 thousand breast cancer survivors and supporters walking or running the 5km or 1km route across the country.

This is the largest one day volunteer led fundraising event that raises funds for breast cancer research and community education and awareness programs.

Are we going to have some kind run with traffic interruption every weekend throughout the summer? I'm betting in 10 years that will be the weekend agenda for PG.
