Gas Leak on Strathcona

Prince George, B.C.- Some tense moment son Strathcona Street this afternoon  because of a natural gas line break.
 
Shortly before 3:30 this afternoon, Terrasen personnel were working on a natural gas meter in the 1900 hundred block of Strathcona Street when a connection broke and natural gas was released into the air.
 
Two complete units of the complex had to be evacuated while repairs were made to the line.
 
Two fire apparatus with six firefighters arrived on scene to find one Terrasen Gas truck already on scene. The scene was secured with RCMP. 
 
 The natural gas line was excavated with a backhoe and the leak was stopped.

There was a gas leak in my house.... of course that was after having too much pasta.
