Family Celebrates Life Of Lost Hiker

Prince George, B.C. - A service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Prince George this afternoon, to celebrate the life of 25-year-old Rachael Anne Bagnall.
Bagnall is the former Prince George resident who failed to return from a planned three-day hiking trip north of Pemberton in early September.
The young woman graduated from UNBC in 2007 and was studying medicine at UBC. She and her boyfriend, 34-year-old Jonathan Jette, set out for an intense backcountry trip on September 4th. Family notified police when they failed to return three days later.
Whistler-Pemberton RCMP and Search and Rescue conducted an intense ground and air search of the area the couple planned to hike into, without finding any sign of the pair.
Today's 'Mass of Life' is at 2pm at the Catholic church at 3285 Cathedral Avenue. A notice of the service says anyone wishing to make a donation to remember Rachael can do so to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, where she volunteered for many years.
