Prince George- Western BC was not the only area of the province to suffer damage as a result of heavy rains last weekend.

Hunters who normally park their vehicles at a landing on the McGregor River North east of Prince George,  returned to their outfits last weekend to discover that the river had risen about 8 feet overnight.

It didn’t end there however,  some reported that the river rose a further 3 feet before beginning to recede causing damage to vehicles and trailers that had been parked there while hunters made their way up further on the river.

The extent of the damage is not known.
