Prince George-  Inner City fighter Kenny Lally stepped into the ring to face
German B team boxer Hamza Touba in the first leg of a dual match.

 

5 German judges scored the first round 2-0 for the German 3-2 after the second and
5-5 after the third.

In Amateur boxing ties are not alowed so they go to a countback on the
computer, removing the highest and lowest scores.

 

However in International Dual matches the rules are different and a draw is allowed
because all five judges are from the same country.

 

So long and short is Kenny scored a draw in his first bout. He was very happy with his his
performance. He fights the A Team member on Saturday night in Frankfurt.
