City's First Budget Meetings Postponed

The 2006 budget deliberations were originally scheduled to begin in earnest in Prince George Council Chambers this evening...

City staff had been scheduled to give an overview at 4:30pm this afternoon, with the City's Administrative Services, covering police and fire budgets, slated to go before Councillors at 7pm.

Instead, the budget documents will be released in their entirety tomorrow. The budget overview will now be included in the regular agenda package for Monday night's council meeting and the Administrative Services budget will be debated on the evening of March 1st.
