Prince George, BC – The Prince George Cougars have acquired  18 year old goalie Ty Rimmer from the Brandon Wheat Kings.  In return, the Wheat Kings get a sixth round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

Rimmer, a 5’11”, 175 pound product of Edmonton, AB, was selected by the Wheat Kings in the 14th round, 303rd overall, in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.  Rimmer has played in four games this season, going 2-2-0-0, with a 2.77 goals against average and a save percentage of .902.
