City to Move Forward Towards Twinning with Jiangmen

Vice Mayor Chen, and Prince George Mayor Dan Rogers sign letter of intent to explore "twinning"
Prince George, BC- The City of Prince George has signed a letter of intent with the city of Jiangmen China to formally explore the mutual benefits of "twinning".
A delgation from Jiangmen, including the Vice Mayor of that city, spent a day and half in Prince George touring facilities and discussing opportunities. Vice Mayor Chen says the three opportunities she sees are public health, natural resources, and education. She says after touring CNC and UNBC she would feel very comfortable sending Jiangmen students here.
She says she is also interested in exploring tourism opportunities, especially since so many people from her city now live in Vancouver. She said she would like to see people from her city coming to Prince George to enjoy the adventures of hunting and fishing.
Vice Mayor Chen said she was very impressed with how beautiful the City of Prince George is, and issued an invitation to members of the media to go to Jiangmen spekaing through an interpretor, she said "Seeing is believing, and I invite you all to come to Jiangmen and see the beautiful scenery."
