Prince George, B.C. - The Cougars will try to avoid a weekend sweep at home at the hands of the Tri-City Americans tonight at CN Centre.

The Americans opened the weekend series with a 7-3 win Friday night, paced by a goal and four assists from Patrick Holland.  Brett Connolly continued his terrific play, scoring twice to give the Prince George product 13 tallies on the year, third most in the WHL, and 20 points, tied for 4th in the league.

Connolly also has scored in seven straight games and has a point in each game this season.  The Cougars have played well well in the second game of a double-header, going 3-1-0-0 and are 3-1-0-0 on Saturday night games.

Puck drop is 7:00pm at CN Centre.  Tickets are available by calling Ticketmaster at 250-564-5585.
