Fyre Cabaret Too Loud Say Neighbours

By Elaine Macdonald

The new Fyre Cabaret at 6th and Brunswick is being told by City Hall to cut the loud music, or face the music of the city by laws department.

Complaints have been filed from Fyre's neighbours that the music is way too loud, way too late.  There are at least two motels in the area.
Council has been told that two City departments are looking into the situation and if the owner- operators of the cabaret do not comply with the by laws on noise, their business license may be in jeopardy.

The city is hoping that a resolution can be made without the need for that type of action.

Hey city hall, are the pawn shops business licenses that buy all of the stolen merchandise that comes from innocent peoples homes in jeopardy? IMO we need to punish the real problems. Why is a business being threatened to loose its license? Have they even been warned?

Peace out and keep on rockin in the free world.

P.S.
If it is too loud you are just too old.
Jeez, some people just like to create problems for those intent on having a good time. The reason music is played loud now a days is because people have nothing of any consequence to say to one another, so going deaf is an alternative to just not listening to a stupid drunk. Dancing really does not become an option after 1 A.M., as just sitting becomes a problem!!!!
The Motels should give all their guests a few pass to the cabaret when they book in. Show 'em a good time, not just a bed to sleep in. How boring!!!!
I wouldn't worry too much about that By Law guy. He better be out there kicking those tourists with R V's out of parking lots, such as Wal Mart,Pine Centre, Costco, or wherever. Lay off the Casino lot though as a buddy system could be in effect there-he'd best check with the Mayor first.
I doubt that Cabaret is creating too much of a problem. I would request written complaints from the guests of those Motels, if there are any????
Never let it be said we, in Prince George, have a Live and Let Live Policy.
It is MY opinion
Prince George City Hall has a "Cut Throat" policy for any business they disapprove of Is this Cabaret on the "chopping block" already??? Methinks so!! Cheers
Just another classic city of PG manouver, here we have an entrepreneur(also know as a guy or gal who's ass is on the line)He or she is trying to run a legitimate business and along come's some moron who is a light sleeper, makes a complaint and city hall wants to shut em down.
Rock,keep it real
