Cougars and Oil Kings Start Doubleheader Tonight At CN Centre

The Prince George Cougars will look to exact a measure of revenge Friday and Saturday, hosting the Edmonton Oil Kings both nights at CN Centre.
The Cougars and Oil Kings are meeting for the second time this season after the Oil Kings were an 8-7 overtime winner at Rexall Place on October 11. The Cougars went into the third period of that game leading 6-3, but after allowing four straight goals, fought back to forcer overtime before losing in the final second of the fourth period. The Cougars had plenty of offense in the first encounter, with Brett Connolly collecting three points, with two goals, Sena Acolatse had a one goal and two assists game and James Dobrowolski had three helpers in the contest.
The Cougars come into the game with a record of 9-7-1-0, second in the BC Division. The Cougars have a game in hand on the BC Divsion leading Vancouver Giants, trailing the Giants by three points. The Cougars haven't been at home since an 8-3 pounding of Tri-City on October 23. The Cougars completed a four game trip in Kelowna, going 2-2 on the trip. The Oil Kings, meantime, haven't won since they defeated the Cougars, losing their last eight games, seven of which in regulation.
