Dawson Creek, B.C. – A three-month undercover operation by Dawson Creek RCMP has netted 11 suspects.
Police arrested eight males and three females Wednesday in operation EPLOVER which targeted street level cocaine traffickers in the city. Investigators say those arrested face a total of 32 criminal charges ranging from cocaine trafficking to failing to comply with probation and or bail conditions.
Investigators executed search warrants at known crack shacks in the downtown core in mid October where RCMP say drug activity was known to be taking place. The suspects are scheduled to appear in court January 4th, 2011.
The sting is the second undercover drug project in Dawson Creek this year. The first one which took place in the spring was a joint effort with the North District Drug Section from Prince George that targeted the highest level drug traffickers in Dawson Creek.
RCMP say the undercover operations were spurred on by concerns about the drug trade expressed by Dawson Creek residents. Police are urging the public to report any suspicious activity by contacting the local detachment or through Crime Stoppers at 1 -800-222-TIPS.

Good job!!
Now that is police work.
Oh Dawson Creek, I originally thought Dawson in the Yukon.... that would be all of the citizens.
Gee!! Failure to comply with a probation or bail conditions. What a surprise! They are still on the street judge! If you expected they would be working a 9 to 5 right away, you're on glue!
