New Chef is What's Cookin' at Coast Inn of the North

Prince George, B.C. – The Coast Inn of the North has a new Executive Chef, he is Sean Rankin.
 
The Coast’s General Manager, Doug Andrews, made the announcement today. “Sean is a true Coast Hotels success story,” said Doug Andrews. “He brings an incredible amount of passion and creativity to every dish he prepares and consistently sets a new quality standard in his culinary creations.  Sean and his culinary team are sure to add a new dimension to the hotel's restaurant, banquet and catering facilities."
 
 Sean received his formal culinary training at Camosun College in Victoria. He earned his Apprenticeship Red Seal in October 1999 at the Coast Victoria Harbourside & Marina in October 1999 and was selected as one of the top eight Apprentices on Vancouver Island. 

Sean has spent the last 14 years perfecting his culinary skills at Coast Hotels & Resorts.  Most recently, he served as Sous Chef at the CION, a position he has held since May 2006.  Before moving to Prince George, Sean worked for ten years at the Coast Harbourside Hotel & Marina in Victoria, starting as an apprentice in April 2006 and working his way up to Sous Chef.
  
Guests at the Coast Inn of the North can look forward to in-season and local ingredients with additions of fresh seafood with wine pairings under Sean's guiding hand.
