Prince George- Quick thinking by the occupant of an apartment in the 2000 block of Central St resulted in minor damage in a fire overnight.

 

Fire crews were called to the fire at 2.00am. this morning after a neighbour reported smoke coming out of an upstairs bedroom.

 

The occupants had put the fire out in a mattress by the time the fire department arrived.

 

Carless use of smoking materials is blamed for the fire. There were no injuries.
