Cougars Visit Kelowna Again

For the third time this season, the Prince George Cougars are in Kelowna to face the Rockets. The Cougars, currently tied with Chilliwack for second in the BC Division with a 10-8-1-0 record for 21 points, have split the first two meetings with Kelowna this season. The Cougars defeated the Rockets 6-2 on September 25, but Kelowna returned the favour November 2 with a 6-2 win, which has jump started a five game winning streak for the Rockets, now 9-10-0-0 on the season. Nick Buonassisi leads the Cougars in scoring against Kelowna this season, with a goal and four assists in two games. The Cougars will then pay their first visit to Vancouver Saturday night to face the Giants, currently five points up on the Cougars, although Prince George holds three games in hand. The Cougars and Rockets will meet again next weekend when the Rockets pay their first visit to Prince George on November 19 and 20, starting at 7:00pm both nights.
