Prince George, B.C..- Provincial Minister of Health, Kevin Falcon is in town.
He attended a special meet and greet at the North 54 restaurant last night and has a full schedule today including:
An event this morning at the Northern Interior Health Unit to pump the B.C. Family residence program which has been in effect since April of this year. The program offers financial support to those who have to travel and stay in Vancouver so they can be with their children as they undergo treatment at the B.C. Children’s Hospital.
Then, it’s off to the Commonwealth Health Centre, where he has been promoted as one of the “guest speakers” for the grand opening of that private development.
This afternoon, Falcon heads to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. where the paediatric wing will be named to honour Northland Dodge/Chrysler dealership G.M. Brent Marshall.
