Bob Pegus Named BC Elite Boxing Coach

Prince George - Inner City Boxing Coach Bob Pegues has been named the BC Elite Team Coach for
the 2011 National Boxing Championshps in Quebec City December 7th !
Graham MacIntosh from the Thistletown Boxing Club has been named Assistant Coach and Chris Jones, Boxing BC President will go as the Team Manager.
Kenny Lally, Jag Seehra will all represent BC at the Championships, and Thomas Spiers is expected to win his Provincial final next week and join the PG contingent. Allan Bayne will go to upgrade to a National Level official.
Pegues has also been named to the Junior Team Coaching staff in a position yet to be disclosed. The Juniors (under 16) will be in St Hyacinth the same time as the (FTS) Final Team Selection will take place. Lally will be defending his A team spot and Seehra will be attempting to get on Canadas "B" Team. Both Lally and Seehra have purchased their air tickets to the FTS in Quebec though both have yet to qualify.
The Three Inner City members will be holding an exclusive "Technical Training Camp" for the four members of the BC Junior Team prior to the Junior Nationals either in Kelowna or Prince George. The camp will focus
on computer scoring and defensive tactics.
