Foothills Weight Restriction In Place

Prince George, B.C.- Foothills Boulevard is now off limits to heavy truck traffic between North Nechako Road and Chief Lake Road.

The City of Prince George has imposed a vehicle weight restriction on Foothills Blvd. Vehicles over 46,500 kgs licensed GVW are now prohibited from using this section of road until further notice.

No one at City Hall was available to explain the reason for the restriction.

Too many unsafe trucks bypassing the weigh scale I believe is the problem.
