Drivers on North Nechako Road will find its a little easier to get through the traffic lights at Foothills Boulevard.

New, traffic sensing cameras have been installed.  The underground sensors at the intersection are broken, so the new cameras will trip the lights to change when the computer sees there are vehicles waiting to cross.  The cameras should eliminate  what has often been  a long wait to cross Foothills .

Just up the road from this intersection is what dirt bikers call tenis court hill.

If you can hit the bottom of the hill in second gear, and then quickly grab third ...
then your front end floats and its like balancing a rocket all the way to the top....

Not many hills around that allow for a full trottle wind out like that one.
