Trying to raise Chongs profile before the recall starts?
Why does this person have to do her own job and now someone elses? Is there not enough high paying MLA's who could get this portfolio? Is it that there is not enough corupt MLA's that Campbell can trust with this portfolio? So many questions and not enough answers. Sigh!
Get that gold plated pension fattened up before you get recalled.
I thought this guy resigned.....or was going to resign.....
now he's appointing people new jobs?????
What the HELL is going on????
Is he going to appoint himself also a raise before he leaves????
Boy, this makes me really mad!!!
He should not be allowed to make any decisions. It should go through the other ministers to make an appointment. Who knows what his agenda is from now until he leaves. His son will be the minister of education before we know it.
In case people do not recall the past roll of Cabinet Minsters, Ida Chong was a minister of both advanced education and small business, technology and economic development.

Musical chairs has brought her pretty well back to where she was.

Wonder how much it costs for business cards and the rest of the title change add ons these days. Hopefully they can produse them fast enough to be used before the next change.

I doubt anyone wants to bring new people into cabinet at this stage. Of course, it leads me to wonder whether this will be the approach for anyone else from cabinet who will want to run for leader. Cabinet may get a bit thin.

As far as people management goes, I am not sure what school of people management Campbell and others in Cabinet might come from. It seems to me, however, that loading someone up with extra duties, when that load was apparently just lightened, at a time of the added stress of going through recall and not sure whether she will have the job much longer, is not the wisest move.

But hey, why should that be a surprise.
"roll"??? ... LOL ... well .. maybe that should have been role ... :-)
