Prince George, B.C. -  'Tis the season for open houses and the Prince George Family 'Y' is getting into the spirit...

The recreation facility on Massey Drive is open to the public today, free of charge, in the hopes of encouraging city residents to check out the Y's multitude of programs.

There will be a number of demonstrations, including karate and from the 'everything-old-is-new-again' file, the newest fitness craze involving the hula hoop.

Those who haven't yet seen the new climbing wall at the gym can see it first-hand and there's early registration for January programs like the 'Intro to climbing class'.
