14th Annual REAPS Recycle Toy Drive
By 250 News
Prince George, B.C. - While 'Black' Friday crossed from the U.S. into Canada yesterday, the local Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society is certainly taking a step away from the frenzied consumerism that marks the countdown to Christmas.
Instead, REAPS is holding its 14th annual recycle toy drive...seeking out quality used toys from city residents who no longer have use for them. The toys collected will be re-distributed to local children's organizations during the holiday season.
The toy drive runs from 10am until 2pm today at the REAPS Compost Demonstration Garden adjacent to Fort George Park at 1950 Gorse Street.
In addition to toys, REAPS will also be accepting donations to the SPCA.
