Bel Canto Celebrates 'A World Of Song'

Prince George, B.C. -  With 'To Do' lists mounting in the run up to the holidays, the Bel Canto Choirs are offering the opportunity to take some time for yourself today, to sit back and enjoy 'A World of Song'...

The Junior Choir, Youth Choir, and Northern Voices adult choir have joined forces for two concerts today -- at 2:30pm and 7:30pm at the Prince George Playhouse -- to present choral arrangements from Africa, Japan, Finland, France, Scotland, and Canada...to name just a few.

Artistic Director, Jaclyn Riemer, says it's been an exciting and enjoyable challenge to prepare for this celebration.  She says many of the choristers have expressed how much fun it's been to learn to sing in new languages and experience the choreography and movement of different cultures.

Reimer expects, "Our audiences will derive a great deal of pleasure from the variety and spontaneity in this production."

Tickets are $15.00 and are available at the door.
