Carole James Leading The Media Frenzy

Suddenly the Liberal Leadership race has been placed on the back burner as the focus moves over to Carole James, leader of the NDP.
Cooler heads must have prevailed on the weekend when the Caucus meeting was postponed for the NDP group that has been seriously fractured by the recent events.
Can Carole James survive the knives? Not likely. The group within the caucus that has been trying to have her ousted, is not going away and the best James can hope for is a leadership convention at which she throws her name into the race. Of course, she could always say "I have had enough and I am leaving now."
Even the not so closely guarded secret that Christy Clark will announce this Wednesday that she is running for the Liberal top spot , is back burner stuff.
As a side note, it is humourous to watch how the “old" party faithful are throwing their two bits into the mix.
Corky Evans and Paul Ramsey, both of whom wouldn’t dare take a run at the political game once again knowing what awaits them at the polls.
In this region, Bruce Strachan suddenly feels that he is a power plug in Kevin Falcon’s race.
These people wouldn’t stand a hope in hell in an election, but seem to feel they are so a part of the province, that whatever comes from their mouth is the gospel others must follow.
At least in Lois Boone’s case she is putting her money where her mouth is , she stands to get a real trouncing in the Federal by election , but at least she is leading with her chin.
I’m Meisner and that’s one man’s opinion.

Christy Clark is highly overrated and too centralized on the lower mainland.
Whether or not either could actually win an election, remains to be seen, but I think Evans would be the strongest runner.
Big difference between running for party leader and actually winning an election.
