Prince George, B.C.- It may be mid-January before the family of Brodie Sawatsky has some answers as to why the Foothills Elementary School student died last week.
While an autopsy has been performed, the results were not conclusive.

More tests will need to be done, and those results are not likely to be available until the middle of January.

12-year-old Brodie was playing football in a field at Foothills elementary when he dove to catch a ball. He didn’t get up. He was rushed to University Hospital of Northern B.C. where he died.

A memorial service has been set for tomorrow in Surrey.
