Prince George,. B.C.- This Thursday and Friday, the City of Prince George and P.G. Transit will be offering their “Food for Fare” program.
On those two days, transit users can donate a non-perishable food item on any Prince George Transit bus in exchange for a free fare. All items collected will go to help the Salvation Army this holiday season.
“We are proud to play a small part in helping out the less fortunate this Christmas,” said Mayor Dan Rogers. “If you are a transit user, we encourage you to assist in making this initiative even more successful than last year.”
