Prince George, B.C.- Everyone loves a story about a good Samaritan, so in keeping with the season of sharing good news, we pass along this little photo essay which came our way.
There was a tragic fatal crash on highway 16 near Jutland Road on Tuesday, and the RCMP had to close a portion of the highway while they investigated that crash.   A detour was set up, and this poor fellow in the white pick up truck somehow ended up the ditch.
This is where our good Samaritan steps in.
The driver of the sand/gravel truck pulled out the chain, and helped tow the pick up back on to the roadway.

The back up lights on, and one good strong steady pull, and the pick up was out of the ditch,  no disruption to any traffic, and everyone was on their way.
The whole effort took only a few moments, and prevented traffic from backing up.

The driver of the pickup, sends along thanks to the un-named driver of the gravel truck.
Just a nice little story to make us all feel a little warm and fuzzy .
